L'Aguille Grive is located in Courbaton (1600m altitude), a high quality 'holiday village' development near Arc 1600. On skis it is accessed by upper part of the Bois de Saule blue piste (signposted at the top), which is very easy - children have been know to ski it after one day! You can leave the chalet on skis and join the same piste down to Les Granges, where the funicular will whisk you up to the centre of Arc 1600. There is also the Millerette beginners area at Les Granges, ideal for children.

On foot Courbaton is a pleasant ten minute walk from the centre of Arc 1600, which has many shops, bars and restaurants. You will go past the bus stop for free shuttles to Arc 2000 (red bus) and Arc 1800 (blue bus), which run until after midnight.

We also offer a free 4 wheel-drive minibus shuttle from the chalet to the Ski school and Cachette/Mont Blanc lift station every morning (normally 08.30 - 11.00)

By car, Courbaton is 10km from Bourg St Maurice, clearly signposted from the main road to Arc 2000 just after Arc 1600. There is free parking close to L'Aguille Grive. Chains may be required at times.
